Format: Round robin stage where you will face atleast 5 teams, and top 2 from the groups will proceed to eliminations
(Limited Spots: This tournament will be limited to maxium 16 teams that register first. We will open the waitlist after all the spots are taken)
Men’s Doubles Badminton Tournament in the GTA featuring intermediate-level players from across the region. The event will have 2 groups, and each group will have 6 to 8 teams. Teams will face all the other teams in their group. Top 2 from each group will play in semi-finals and finals

Overview
This tournament will have a round-robin group stage:
Players will be added to a group of 6 to 8 teams
Players will play all the other teams in their group
Group stage will be a single set of 21 points
win by 2
deuce to 30 points
Based on your standings (wins and point difference), top 2 will proceed to eliminations.
All the elimination games will be best of 3 games
Shuttle will not be provided during the group stage. One shuttle will be provided during the elimination games.

Skills levels
The goal of this tournament is to promote and grow badminton for intermediate-level players. Our team will be monitoring sign-ups actively. We will match submissions with past performances in Playmo’s tournaments and other private tournaments happening across the region. This is to make sure the tournament is fair for other players
The signups will be shared with the participants for feedback
We hold the right to refund a team that is flagged as advanced or pro-level players
There will be awards and medals for the following winners and runners-up
